FRM Collective at the NCDA National Career Conference, led by founder & Career Coach Malerie Baker, 2025 NCDA Global Career Development Conference Presentation on Building Bridges for Inclusive Career Development.

On Juneteenth, I had the honor of co-presenting at the 2025 NCDA Global Career Development Conference in Atlanta — a full-circle moment with my mentor and former trainer, the incomparable Dr. Linda D. Woodard, CWDP, CCSP, GCDFI, CPRW. Our session reflected the heart of my work: empowering individuals who’ve been overlooked, underestimated, or face systemic barriers. Everyone deserves a path to meaningful, supported work.

In conjunction with the conference, I created a newsletter titled Building Bridges for Inclusive Career Development, which shares key insights from our session and offers resources for advancing equity and inclusion in career development for those with disabilities and special needs. Be sure to check it out for strategies, stories, and actionable ideas to support clients and colleagues alike.
